BIG BOOTY YOGA

Are you in a bigger body? Are you sick of feeling like the only one in yoga class struggling to get into a pose?

Join me in this celebration of our big beautiful bodies! I have been everywhere from a size 8 to a 24! Sometimes the cues I get in a “traditional” yoga class do not work for my body shape. If you can relate, join me for this exploration and celebration of yogic movement for bigger bodies. We will find poses that comfortably fit your unique shape!

CANDLELIGHT YIN

Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. These poses help gain more flexibility and mobility in the body. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Add the relaxing benefit of electric Candles to Ease your way into the Weekend.

Suitable for all levels of students & beginner-friendly.

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle yoga is a slower-paced practice to energize and relax the body, quiet the mind, and calm the nervous system.

This 60-minute class offers stretching, strengthening, breathing exercises, and poses to encourage better balance, bone density, and flexibility. Yoga helps alleviate stress and anxiety and promotes inner peace while learning/refining the fundamentals of yoga. Yoga is a profound tool to expand one’s life and encourage health and wellness, one pose at a time!

Appropriate for all levels and beginner-friendly.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION & MOVEMENT

In this relaxing slow-paced practice, we engage in mindfulness-based stress reduction meditation (MBSR) and somatic mindful movement based in gentle yoga. We take time to intentionally experience connecting with the breath and body, training our awareness in more deliberately embracing the present moment. By purposefully slowing down, we train our minds, reset our bodies and rewire the nervous system, activating the relaxation response. We begin to connect to an inherent capacity to heal, learning to recognize the body’s subtle intelligence, stepping out of autopilot and into a more conscious, calm and balanced state. We honor the body and its different abilities, soothing the nervous system, and assist in stress management, self-regulation and homeostasis. All levels welcome.

MELLOW FLOW BY CANDLELIGHT

Join us for this mellow Vinyasa Flow. This class will incorporate all the basic poses you need to stretch out and flow freely by the soothing glow of candlelight.

SLOW FLOW AND RESTORE

This 60 minute class incorporates gentle stretches and slow standing flows to open the body. After the body is open we will move into a restorative pose where the body is fully supported and then finish with Savasana.

YOGA EXPRESS (45 Minutes)

Our Vinyasa classes focus on linking breath with movement in standing, seated, and supine poses. Modifications, including the use of props, will be offered. Participants are encouraged to honor the poses that are most suitable for their practice, and every “body,” at any level of experience, is welcome.

INTRODUCTION TO MAT PILATE-LEVEL 1

You will learn foundational exercises and movement principles that strengthen and stretch the entire body. Focusing on breath, proper form, and efficient movement patterns. Using slow controlled movements and repetition to build strength. Pilates strengthens the core, improves balance, increases coordination, and decreases stress.

It is safe and low impact making it appropriate for any age or fitness level.
